Title Sequence
Hi Hi Hi!
So, for our title sequence, we didn't really want it to be anything corny, cheesy, or embarrassing, but we also wanted to keep its like 2000s-coming of age-indie movie kind of vibe. I took inspiration from Almost Famous, and its title sequence has someone write out the names and the positions of the cast and crew and then write the title and underlines it. I thought it was pretty cool and since it was made in 2000 it fit the vibe.
For ours, though, it was me trying to do math homework next to a failed quiz that had my name on it and for Mals, it was her typing on a laptop while working on a paper that got an A plus. We thought it would be more personable and more fitting if we kept it unedited and like not messed with (hence writing it on a piece of paper and typing it on a laptop.) We all kind of agreed on this because it's what we all had in mind, because I don't think that it ‘just appearing’ fits and neither did they.
Another style of title sequence that I thought was cool would be appearing, but the idea was that it would be appearing differently each episode, but since it's only the movie opener it didn't really make sense for us to do this. I got the idea from “Outer Banks” intros.
