STORYBOARDDD:

Scenes 1-4

So this scene starts off with my character (the grunge/y2k 2000s one) doing math homework or something and then writing my name on it next to the 'F.' This way, the audience can get my name before hand in a sort of opening credits kind of way. I take the failed quiz, crumble it up, and then throw it behind me to the trash.

Scenes 5-8

In the next scene, the paper misses the trash and Mal's character (the nerd/girl-next-door) picks it up and throws it away. By now, we're in her room and she's working at her desk. It shows her homework with an 'A' and her name at the top. 

Scenes 9-12

Mal reaches for some headphones on her cluttered desk and then grabs them in the next couple of shots. Scene 11, she puts on the headphones and music starts playing. We don't know what song to play since there's the matter of copyright but something sad or melancholic. If anything, well have some of our friends play some music for us. after, she starts dancing. 

Scenes 13-16

This next character is Bry's and she plays the part of the preppy/popular girl. She rolls over on her side and the camera focuses on her in a medium close up until the next shot where the camera focuses on the sheet of paper next to her. Then it cuts to my character and Mals' looking at the paper with a sad face until we look at each other with a sort of reassuring smile. next is a close up shot of us two with happier, more upbeat music.

                                         

So the last two scenes start off with my character and Mals' throwing the paper away and running up a hill with excitement/laughter. Close up shot of the paper flying in the wind and a picnic in the back, but the focus being on the paper falling to the ground. Last is a cut to the close up shot of the paper with the name of our movie on it and then a fade to black.

There are still a lot of kinks to work out but the overall idea is there. We want a coming-of-age film but with one of the characters dying so we'll see what happens.
