Final Project Discussion

 Whats up y'all.

So the final idea for the project was a coming-of-age film about three different personalities that get along together set in the early 2000's. We (Me, Bry, and Mal) took inspiration from movies like the Breakfast Club, Mean Girls, Dazed and Confused, etc... 

 

We arent sure exactly what the plot is going to be or like, the overall idea, but I wanted to have some character die (either suicide or an accident) just to get the audiences attention and shock them. I'm excited about the wardrobe an creating these characters because I'm a sucker for all things vintage and retro (early 1960's to late 1990's.) So early 2000's isn't to far off from late '90s and it shouldnt be too hard to find clothes for. 

Something that i'm concerned with is the finalization and decision making of the entire project. We all have a general idea of what we want, but we each want something different and slightly contradicting. For example, I wanted it to be set in the 70's, but i knew it would be really hard to do so we all agreed to keep the aesthetic as retro and settled on the early 2000's. I like my group and the ideas we have already so I know everything will work out in the end.
